Cotton Receives IFDA’s Thomas Jefferson Award |
Washington, D.C. – Today, the International Foodservice Distributors Association announced that Congressman Tom Cotton (R-Dardanelle) received their Thomas Jefferson Award. The Thomas Jefferson Award is awarded each Congress to Senators and Members of Congress who have shown a commitment to increasing economic opportunity and reducing government regulation.
“Economic prosperity comes hand in hand with free enterprise. I hear from Arkansans across the state that the best thing government can do to help them succeed is cut red tape, eliminate unnecessary regulations, and work with them rather than work against them,” said Cotton. “I am honored to receive this award and remain committed to a strong free enterprise system.”
